I survived… To tell it all
The Titanic was sailing for 4 days in the North Atlantic Ocean; when it crashed against a huge iceberg. It was he beautiful night of April 14, 1912. I was Captain’s Smith Assistant. I listened a big noise, and I ran to the control room. Everything in the ship was a chaos, people were panicking. Captain Smith ordered to start the evacuation; He said, “women and children first.” The ship did not have lifeboats. I was scared, I did not know what to do, and I only heard the music. I got desperate, then, I jumped from the top of the ship to the ocean. The water was very cold, however I swam with all my strength. After 20 minutes, the ship sank. Finally, one lifeboat took me out of the water. Captain Smith never left the ship, and everyone remembered the band that continued playing until The Titanic sank.
